through these hands

Through These Hands is an activist website that brings awareness to the realities of garment workers in the fast fashion industry, examining wages below the living standard, unsafe and hazardous working conditions, and child labour across major garment-producing countries such as Bangladesh, India, and China.

The site pairs research-based facts and statistics with photography and illustration to build a narrative centered on human labour. A bold red, black, and white palette and confident, oversized typography give weight to the subject, while a recurring handprint motif reinforces the project's core idea: real people behind every piece of clothing.

Content unfolds in focused chapters, each pairing a full-bleed photograph with a key statistic and a short, direct statement, before closing on a call to consumer awareness and a list of supporting organizations.
